A total of 8,649 six-speed manual F355s were made between 1994 and 1999, of which 2,663 were Spiders (soft-tops). A further 2,624 355s were made with the F1 paddle shift. It is estimated there are around 40 F355s in New Zealand.

18" wheels wear 225/40 on the front and 265/40 on the rear.

0-60 in around five seconds. Top speed of 175 mph (286 kph). I've so far managed just 180 kph... I've had the rego plate since 1995 and my days at Terabyte doing web sites. It seemed appropriate to put it on the Spider....

Apparently, of the 12 standard colours Ferraris come in, just under half of the V8s are made in 'rosso corsa' (red). Yellow is the next most popular colour, followed by black. There's a chap here in New Zealand who's been trying to sell his Testa Rossa for two years. It's white..... Yes, the interior is somewhat red. As far as I can make out it was specially ordered for the Sultan of Brunei. In the seven years he had it he did a total of 800 kms. According to an e-mail from the factory 23/10/02: "We kindly inform you that your car was produced in July 1995 and was sold to Pininfarina. Its original colour was red and it had black leather interior"
